The Parade

I remember attending a parade at age two. It was my first time seeing a parade and it was very exciting, there were so many people in attendance. I remember seeing a girl I knew on one of the floats. I pointed and exclaimed to my family and the other adults, "Look it's Hanaka." To my shock, they all laughed at me. I felt very hurt by their reaction.
